I have had the amazing opportunity to work with DESTINEAK a local Vancouver band. Christina Sing First saw NRT Fashions when she came to calgary for an event at West. I had my mom drop off some outfits for her as I was in Toronto at the time.
I then was asked to do the wardrobe for a video that they were flying out to Cabo San Lucas to shoot in june 2011. I had 2 and a half weeks to put together a series of outfits for the both of them ! I couldnt have imagined I would be actually going out to mexico with them to work on the video ! It was such an incredible experience, from all the amazing people I met, to Beach Partys, ATV and horse back rides, boat rides, hummers and my own private room for the week!
Here is the result of 17 hour shoot days in plus 40 weather, and getting to work with two people who also have such creative minds !
In april I decided to go to Toronto to do a show for FAT. It was so much fun going out there and seeing the fashion in a big city like Toronto. FAT is different than most fashion weeks because it is much more creative in my opinion. Definatly not your typical collections going down the runway. So mine fit right in. Getting to show on the bussiest night was amazing so many people and so many people that had yet to see my stuff!

Myself and Tomi Mustapic decided to put on an event to showcase my fall winter 2011 collection. We brought in DJ Adrien Villanova from Paris, and put on a pretty big event for my first time putting on a show (considering the horrible snow storm) we had a great turn out!!
we had amazing sponsors including one of my absolute favorite people that I have gotten to meet so far in the Fashion Industry Jami Symons. He created all of the wigs for the show and the hair coats as well. He is brilliant and such a great person!
I showed Escrime for the second time at Alberta Fashion week. I also added in 3 mens outfits for this collection as a trial. My second attempt was much better than this one.
This was my second collection. Spring/summer 2011. This photoshoot was done by one of my favorite White Cedar. She has done lots of photos of my collections since this one. I also got to work with my favorite model Rena from Mode she killed this photo shoot (you can also find her in my previous post : various photos from wwx)
This collection was based off the sprt of Fencing, I also created fencing masks for the models to wear.
This show was my first big show! I had the oppourtinity to show along many fellow canadian designers and feel that this show is what got me on the map as a designer. The event was held at the Bank Nightclub. It was the perfect venue for my show and the response was amazing. Following the show I was contacted By Mealans clothing store on 4th street and 17th ave, where I was able to sell some of my bodysuits. Along with many other clients who have purchased pieces from this collection!
This was my First complete collection. It was inspired by Lady Gaga and World War two military Soldiers. Before I even showed the collection I was asked to have one of the coats for the cover of Conglomerate Magazine. These are the photos from the middle pagespread. This show was my first Fashion Show in Calgary, It was held at BLVD for a Chairty for the UofC. I showed my first collection of dresses and my 3 Grad pieces.
This was the first fashion show and photoshoot that I did, it was back in May of 2009 in Vancouver BC . It was for an event at a Vancouver Night club called 'Babelicious'. I was wearing one of my own designs for our school carreer fair and was asked by one of the venders if i would be interested in showing a full collection.
